orthechildrenscrusade:

Thank you to everyone that came out to our release show on Saturday night. Also, thanks to LaRose and Chris Wilson for playing as well. We had a great time.

Now, it is with great pleasure that we present to you our new album, Football Season Is Over. You can head here to hear the entire album. You can also purchase the album as a pay-what-you-want download.

We are all very proud of this album and could not be more excited to finally be able to present it to you. It’s been a long time coming.

Halloween is upon us which means that it’s time for the annual return of Gloom & Doom. This year’s show is going to be the best so far. The show will be taking place at Crossroads Music Hall (721 Clinton Avenue West, Huntsville, AL) and will also feature performances by Or the Children’s Crusade, and LaRose. The show will be 19+ and the doors open at 7PM. Also, did we mention that it is absolutely FREE?

RSVP

You can sing karaoke, or listen to the same old cover bands any other night of the year so we hope that you choose to spend the evening before Halloween with us. We promise to make it worth your while.

Fall is upon us, so it’s time for us to have another house show. This time around Nathan Barnett, Colin Bugbee, Freeman Gray, and Alex Wright will be playing solo sets in a living room (1302 Wells Ave. Huntsville, AL 35801) on Saturday October 15, 2011. The show will start at 7PM and is absolutely free. If you are of the legal age, please feel free to bring your own beverages. There will be a bonfire, but marshmallows will not be provided. Repeat, you will need to bring your own marshmallows.

We hope to see you there.
RSVP

We just wanted to remind everyone about the show tomorrow night at The Peter Cat. (1304 Stevens Avenue - Huntsville, AL - Five Points)

Or the Children’s Crusade will be playing along with Lafayette & Hawking’s Horse. The show will get kicked off around 7 PM and is free for all over 21, and (I believe) $3 for anyone under 21. The money will go to help out the touring band.

We hope you can make it. Don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any questions at all.

I am very aware that these things usually don’t work out but if you helped out in this, it would be a huge thing for a lot of kids in my town, so I’m going to try.
Please text “coffeeandplay” to 244326 and follow the instructions to help us compete for a $30,000 small business grant through Intuit.

Seriously EVERYONE should do this. I did it.

Done.

Help out our friends at Planet Avalon by doing this for them. It really does just take a minute of your time.

N312DW412D5: So here's the deal...

nathanedwards:

Last week, the van died on me. I had it towed to a mechanic to look at it, but I knew one way or another it wouldn’t be good. It was making a loud clanking noise in the engine and all we could do is wait it out and see what was what. So today I’ve been told that our entire crank shaft is done for,…

Our friends in Carridale are having issues with their van. Please take a moment to read this update from Nathan Edwards and see if there’s anything that you might be able to do to help them out. These are some of the most hard working musicians that I’ve met and it would be such a shame for them to not be able to make their upcoming tour because of such an awful circumstance.
